About the Founder: Clinical Background & Research
Dr. Ray Pataracchia, ND (Inactive), completed 25 years of clinical practice with the permanent closure of the Naturopathic Medical Research Clinic on October 1, 2026. He founded The Naturopathic Medical Research Clinic in 2001.Effective October 1, 2026, the clinical practice of the Naturopathic Medical Research Clinic remains permanently closed.
Dr. Pataracchia obtained his Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine four year post-graduate education from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, Toronto, Ontario. He has a four year honors degree in Neuroscience from Brock University, St. Catharines, Ontario.
His clinic participated in an academic review on “Wellness” in Canada in 2002 (Jackson & Pulliam, 2002, Federal Report).
With 28 years of literature research on Orthomolecular and Naturopathic Medicine and over 24 years of treatment experience in General and Mental Health, his clinical approach is considered one of the most advanced models of wellness in the country.
He has authored hundreds of articles on health and nutrition and co-authored the resource book ‘Minerals in Health and Disease’ in 2005 with co-author Dr Klaus-Georg Wenzel, a Psychiatrist/Neurologist from Germany.
He served as the Clinic Director and Primary Naturopathic Practitioner of The Naturopathic Medical Research Clinic throughout its operational years.
